These balls are flocked all over with a soft matte surface that reads like velvet, ribbed from top to bottom so the light breaks gently across each ridge instead of bouncing off. Because they are made from 15 to 30 cm, one or two are enough to anchor a branch, and a handful fills a bowl on a table.

A matte flocked finish, not a shiny bauble

The whole sphere is covered in flocking, the same soft coating used on winter village figures, which gives the ball a slightly dusty, light-absorbing surface rather than a mirror shine. Wide vertical ribs run from the gold cap down to the base, so the silhouette stays graphic even at a distance. There is no glitter and no printed pattern anywhere on the ball, which is what makes it sit quietly next to natural fir branches instead of competing with them.

Four colours, four sizes

The 15 cm ball comes in ivory, red, wine red and forest green, so a single branch can carry a small palette that matches the rest of the room. The larger sizes, 20, 25 and 30 cm, are meant to be used on their own or in pairs, where their size does the work: on a mantelpiece, in a wide bowl on a dining table or low on a large tree. Mixing two colours at different sizes gives the arrangement depth without adding another material.

Where the size changes everything

Small ornaments look lost on a tall tree, while oversized ones overwhelm a narrow shelf; that is the whole reason this design comes in four diameters. The 30 cm ball reads as a single statement piece, the 20 and 25 cm sit comfortably in a centrepiece bowl, and the 15 cm size can be hung in clusters. Each ball hangs from its own gold-coloured cap and loop, so it can be moved from the tree to a table arrangement between one season and the next.

Used on a tree, in a bowl or along a mantelpiece, these balls bring a soft, matte note to a Christmas interior and stay readable from across the room. They are decorations to hang, gather and rearrange as the season goes on, and their plain flocked surface means they work with the colours you already have out.

Specifications

Material: flocked surface with a gold-coloured metal cap and hanging loop

Finish: matte flocked with wide vertical ribs; no glitter, no printed pattern

Sizes: 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm (Approximate)

Colours: ivory, red, wine red and forest green in the 15 cm size

Sold as 1 piece per pack
